Our objective is to provide our clients a number of options; all with the appropriate subject matter expertise to confirm existing practices, recommend improvements or additional opportunities, or provide implementation of new processes without disruption to the daily business operation.

All of the services outlined below are offered "ala carte" to ensure that you receive the information you require to validate, grow, and optimize your business.

Productivity and/or Operational Assessment
This area encompasses either an overview or a very thorough Assessment of specific departments, processes, and individual functions with the objective of confirming that the best practices are in place. The level of detail can be at your choosing or by recommendation from Barbara Sydow LLC.

Process Flow
We offer subject matter expertise for the purpose of reviewing existing process flow maps or will work with your staff to develop process flows for new functions or departments.

Benchmarking
If benchmarks have not been identified in your organization, Barbara Sydow LLC can provide the subject matter expertise for establishing initial benchmarks for a variety of areas. If benchmarks are in place; after a review of a process or department, Barbara Sydow LLC will provide validation of the performance levels to other similar areas within the industry and if desired, offer recommendations related to alternative benchmarks.

Metric Management
This area ties in to Benchmarking; once the criteria is established, Barbara Sydow LLC can provide assistance in the development of the appropriate "report cards", "reporting packages", departmental reports, etc., that may be required to run a function, area, or department.

Imaging/New Systems Implementation
As our industry continues to move toward reducing costs many new processes are being designed around the use of imaging, outsourcing, new operating systems, etc. Barbara Sydow LLC has expertise related to the selection of vendors; revision of workflow designs; creation of validation processes; coordination of implementation and change management processes to name a few.

Expense Management
Barbara Sydow LLC can provide a review of the existing expenses in conjunction with the process or operational review and provide recommendations where appropriate.

Customer Loyalty
The customer is one of the most important aspects of our industry but we don't always have accurate or regular measurements or analysis. Barbara Sydow LLC has expertise related to the identification of survey questions and data to assist in designing a customer centric review of customer loyalty information on a regular basis.

Risk Assessment
Risk is inherent in the mortgage industry, but it must be managed appropriately. In conjunction with the process assessment, Barbara Sydow LLC will provide industry information specific to product risk, secondary market risk, operational risk, customer privacy related risks, etc.

Crises Intervention
Given the cyclical nature of our business, Barbara Sydow LLC can offer recommendations to resolve issues related to spikes in volume, changes in credit quality, and improvement to customer service requirements.

Data Integrity
This area focuses on the quality of data that is used in all of the business assessments. Specifically, Barbara Sydow LLC will review the quality of the data related to any areas within the business, i.e HMDA data; Fair Lending requirements; any data related to the existing benchmarking and reporting areas. The review will both validate and create a "benchmark" for future measurement. We can also offer recommendations for areas that should have "auto validation" created with any appropriate systems opportunities.
