Barbara Sydow LLC opened January, 2006. Initially, we focused on lending support to mortgage companies, brokers, vendors, agencies or investors as a result of my experience as a career executive with more than 30 years in the origination, marketing and servicing aspects of the mortgage industry.

Because we believe that the processes we applied to the financial industry are easily transferable, we are expanding our focus in to other customer and service oriented businesses and organizations.

As the Executive Vice President, National Operations for Aurora Loan Services, a Lehman Brothers Company with responsibility for all origination channels. I led a team that built a decentralized broker and correspondent network and increased volume from $500 million to $5.3 billion monthly with appropriate levels of service, quality and credit risk. I also was actively involved in the strategic initiatives that included the selection and implementation of a new origination system, imaging system, off shoring opportunities, and centralization initiatives as a result of the anticipated technology.

I am a member and past "Woman of the Year" of the American Business Women's Association and won various leadership awards while in many of my roles with the companies mentioned above. I am also a member of Strathmore's Who's Who.
